BEST HAIR PRODUCTS FOR OILY HAIR: MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES

Today I just thought I would share with you some of my all time favorite hair care products. Since I have more oily hair, these hair care products will mostly be great for oily hair. These are all different kinds of products and each serves a different purpose. I have tried so many over the years but these are the ones that have stuck.

SHAMPOO

Bamboo Volume Abundant Shampoo – I buy mine from Ulta. I have a more oil-prone scalp so I have to wash my hair every other day but this stuff keeps it fresh and dry for a good two to three days. It smells pretty good too.

CONDITIONER

Moroccanoil Extra Volume Conditioner – I get mine at a local hair salon but you can also buy it on Amazon. I’m not going to lie, I buy this stuff 80% for the smell and 20% for the performance. It smells amazing and doesn’t weigh my hair down so it works great for me.

DRY SHAMPOO

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish – This hair product category had the most trial and error. This is by far my favorite one of all the dry shampoos. If I blow dry my hair and then add this, my hair won’t get flat or greasy for DAYS. I get mine at Sephora.

HAIRSPRAY

TRESemme Perfectly (un)done Hairspray – Love this stuff! It isn’t too potent of a smell and it doesn’t make my hair stiff and crunchy but definitely holds it in place. Again, you can get this pretty much anywhere but Amazon definitely has it.

LEAVE IN TREATMENT

Moroccanoil Leave In Styling Cream – Same smell as the conditioner! It detangles my hair really well, again, without weighing it down in the process. It is also available on Amazon.

HAIR MASK

Macadamia Oil Deep Repair Masque – This stuff makes my hair so soft! It keeps it well hydrated. I use it about once a month. I get mine at Ulta. They also sell a small pouch of it so you can travel with it or test it out and see if you like it.

PURPLE SHAMPOO

Chamomile & Argon Oil Blonde Care Shampoo – There are tons of purple shampoos out there but this one is inexpensive at $5.99, does a great job, and smells amazing (see a theme here?). I get mine at Ulta. I use it about once a month to keep my hair from getting brassy and yellow.
