Thanksgiving is next week (crazy!) and I wanted to share a few of my favorite Thanksgiving Day traditions. We alternate years with my family and hubby’s family, so we have a few different traditions. In my family, we always make a few favorite dishes like Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn casserole, green bean casserole, rolls, various pies, and some weird green jello thing that has been in the family for years. Usually the men folk watch sports while some of us watch the big dog show that they do while we try to digest everything that we have just stuffed ourselves with. Some years I get a little more dressed up (especially when we used to go Black Friday shopping) and other years I like to just wear stretchy pants and a cozy sweater.
